Food for the Hungry | Ending Child Mariage

Child marriage is illegal in Bangladesh — yet it continues, often hidden in plain sight.

Created for Food for the Hungry, this docu-drama confronts the gap between law and lived reality. The film blends narrative reconstruction with documentary texture to illuminate the systemic pressures — poverty, tradition, gender inequality — that perpetuate the practice.

Rather than present statistics alone, we centered the human cost: interrupted childhoods, deferred dreams, and the quiet strength of girls navigating impossible circumstances.
